Edible Wild Foods Tour:  Join us for our third class in our series, EDIBLE WILD CoMo, where we explore the wild food growing around Boone County. Tours will be held on the first Friday of each month at different locations. This class is intended for beginner foragers and perfect for of all ages. What to Expect: Guided Exploration: Walk (approximately 1 mile or less ) a scenic Boone county  trail with certified foraging instructors who will introduce you to the edible plants growing in the wild. Edible Identification: Learn how to identify various wild plants that are safe to eat and discover their nutritional benefits. Practical Uses: Find out how to prepare and incorporate these wild edibles into your meals, as well as other practical uses for the plants. Strollers are welcome. • Cost: $20 per person (11 and under free) • Group Size: Limited to 20 participants to ensure a personalized experience (only register kids 12 and up, younger kids are welcome to tag along).
